Lua + Box View


The Box Developer Blog talks to Michael about Lua's vision to improve mobile business communications, and about Lua's open source implementation of Box View.

Vincent Taverna, a Lua software engineer leading this open source project, realized how easily he could move our implementation at Lua [of Box View] into a full feature rich and open source version. We wanted to build the library in pure Ruby, so that anyone with a site running on Ruby would benefit from Box View. In step with the Box View API documentation, Vinny worked on the ReadMe thoroughly in order to make it just as consumable. He wanted developers to instantly understand how they needed to use our library in order to communicate with Box View. The end product is something we know Box and its customers will find useful.
