Real-time messaging is most effective when complemented by a deep and powerful message search that enables you to find pertinent past conversations immediately. With Lua’s Deep Search you can enter any word or phrase into the search box and be shown any relevant conversations instantly. Past conversations are often necessary to the workflow of the present, and with message search you have access to specific moments right away.
What are some of the key highlights?
Search From Anywhere
If you’re going to search for important messages or files it needs to be quick and easy. You can see the search icon on the top right corner of every screen for easy and immediate access to Deep Search.
Everything is Searchable
Search in Lua includes conversations (individual, group, and broadcasts), groups, titles, names and even attachments.
Highlighted Search Term
In the list of search results, the search term will be highlighted in red. When you tap on the desired conversation, you will be brought immediately to the item you are looking for. It will be highlighted in yellow and the search term will still be red.
Jump to Recent Conversations
Now you can keep your workflow running smoothly with access to all previous information. Once you have located what you’re looking for, you will have the option to jump back to most recent messages so that you can share the information and immediately keep working.
So, how does it work?
1. Find the message search icon, which is the magnifying glass at the top right hand corner.
2. Hit the search icon, and enter any word or phrase that you need to find.
3. Be brought instantly to all conversations containing that search term, starting with the most recent ones.
4. Once you find your message, simply tap into it to be taken directly to the conversation.
Can I search more than one word?
Yes. With Deep Search, you can enter any word or phrase into the search bar.
What will others in my network have access to when they use search?
Employees will only have access to their own individual conversations, broadcasts, or groups they are apart of. You can be confident that the search will not reveal messages that individuals do not have access to.
What happens when I choose to tap into a conversation from the results?
After you tap in you will be brought directly to the moment your search term was used in the conversation. The message with the term will be highlighted in yellow and the search term will still be red as it is in the preview.
After I search how will I be able to know which result I want to choose?
The results page features a preview of the conversations containing your search term. For additional transparency the preview also contains the individuals involved in each conversation and the date when your search term was found.
