FirstLantic relied on standard texting and email, which proved to lack security and are non-compliant. Communication was often delayed, as caregivers were often unable to monitor or access their email in the field. Because time is of the essence in healthcare, FirstLantic needed a solution that was more time efficient and allowed for more robust communication between providers and caregivers in the field and scheduling coordinators or clinical administrators at FirstLantic's headquarters.
